You can add an extra layer of security to your Stand Out Property Manager account by turning on two-factor authentication (2FA). This requires you to have access to your phone when you log in, and means even if your password is compromised or stolen, only you can log in to your account.
To add two-factor authentication to your login you need to use an application on your mobile phone. Just search the Google Play Store on Android or App Store on iPhone for Authenticator. A popular option is Google Authenticator.
Once your application is installed, just scan the QR code on the Enable, which will link Authenticator to Standout. This will immediately start generating codes, one of which you need to enter in the confirmation box before pressing Enable.
Once enabled you must then use the Authenticator application on your phone during your login. The code provided by the Authenticator is only valid for a short period, so enter it before the timer expires on your phone.
