GDPR Settings

Data retention limits

Configure the amount of time to keep details on the system. This screen allows you to determine how long you will keep various forms of data. This decision is yours and any periods should be updated in line with your privacy policy and company terms. Settings can be changed for Vendors, Buyers, Landlords, Tenants and Staff.

Telephone privacy statement

This statement will be displayed alongside a telephone consent checkbox on contact details, allowing it to be read out to all contacts that you save within Standout. The ONLY exceptions are Solicitors, these contacts do not have to be informed about your GDPR statement.

Force GDPR conformation

This option allows you to turn off and on whether your staff will see the "Privacy" tab first when creating a new contact (regardless of the above exception). If you do not have a statement in the Telephone privacy statement, this system generated statement will be displayed:
